Regional Sports Complex Coming Soon
Blount County’s HomeTown Sports is an ambitious new regional sports complex rising in Oneonta that promises to elevate organized athletics and community recreation. spearheaded by the Blount County Economic Development Council in partnership with the Blount County Commission and HomeTown Bank of Alabama, the project will feature multi-use courts for basketball, volleyball and pickleball, turf fields for soccer and flag football, and amenities like team rooms, meeting spaces, RV parking and a food truck courtyard. Designed to serve athletes of all ages and host tournaments, camps and community gatherings, the facility is set to become a hub for play, competition and connection in North Alabama.
