Historic Neely Theatre

The Historic Neely Theatre stands as a cornerstone of arts and culture in downtown Oneonta. Opened in 1946, the theater is now home to local performances by the Covered Bridge Players, small-scale productions, and the Neely School of Music.

A major restoration effort is underway to return the upstairs theater—designed to seat 350—to its former grandeur. Today, the Neely continues to celebrate local talent while preserving Blount County’s creative legacy.
